You don't need separate BIOS to boot from floppy. Your existing mainboard BIOS should have an option to boot from floppy, from CD/DVD, from HD, and so on.

The bios is located on a chip on the motherboard so it boots from the motherboard always.

You can get your Operating system to boot from a floppy or set of floppies - see http://www.bootdisk.com

If you want to update your bios, you download the bios update file from the manufacturers website. Then you create a bootable floppy disk and copy the bios files to the floppy. An incorrectly flashed bios can render a PC inoperable so be careful.
