Yes, because for them he is as good as it gets in the Liberal world.

If you read David Shippers book, he was the Chicago Democrat lawyer that represented the House managers in the impeachment. They did not want to impeach Clinton for perjury. They wanted to impeach Clinton and Gore for voter and immigration fraud. The documentation is produced in his book where Gore was the master mind to have others stand in for immigrants and take the test and then registered them in the Democrat party. During the impeachment proceeding there was a secured evidence room. Mary Bono was the only member of Congress that went in and reviewed the evidence. Clinton has sealed the evidence of his impeachment for 50 years. Wonder why

As another poster noted, Clinton wasn't that liberal - in fact, he really pissed off Republicans by adopting their agenda! And his foreign policy was pretty the much the same as under former administrations, both Democrat and Republican. Maybe it's just me, but I think an extramarital affair is a thing between a man and his wife, not a president and his country. And while conservatives like yourself continue to beat this dead horse, you conveniently look the other way when Bush ignores intelligence reports saying bin Laden "determined to attack within the U.S.," and takes the country to war on false pretenses. Glad to see you've got your priorities in order. Do conservatives feel a sense of pride knowing that Bush took a trillion dollar surplus and squandered it into a multi-billion dollar deficit? Or that he squandered the goodwill and sympathy of the rest of the world after 9/11? And let me be clear - the Democrats, especially Hillary Clinton and Joseph Lieberman, are just as much to blame for the Iraq war as the Republicans and neocons. The Democrats marched in lockstep with the Bush administration and gave them everything they wanted with respect to the war(s).

He wasn't impeached in where it counts the Senate, look Bill Clinton was a great President and will help Hillary balance the budget, get all our foreign policy back that Bush lost. I can't understand you Conservatives, you got a nit wit to replace a scholar but you just can't stand it that old Bush is as dumb as any one or even dumber than the dumbest human on earth.
You try to compare Clinton with old chimpy , you don't have a fighting chance. We won the both party election and we will take back the White House, Thank You Hillary for being there to bring the man with highest IQ of any President to replace the lowest IQ. Old Dumbo Bush.
Clinton never committed Adultery in the white house, Oral sex is not adultery, there was not intercourse. I'm sure you would probably turned down what he received or never got the opportunity. Get a life, try sometime you may like it or, hmmmm.

Not pride, but certainly no shame since the impeachment charges were laughably trumped up. He was charged with lying about a private, personal matter that was not criminal, and in no way dealt with abuse of the powers of office.

He was ACQUITTED of the charges against him. Whoops, forgot about that tidbit in your question.

Think about how many different Republicans who were leading the charge with moral indignation had their own hypocrisy and infidelities exposed at that time. Clearly the supporters of this nonsense are not interested in any sort of objective standard or even application of their standards to their own party members.

If Clinton screwing around on his wife, then trying to keep her from finding out about it, is worth throwing him out of office, then why do the Republicans favor Guiliani, told his second wife via press conference that he was dumping her, and she had to get a restraining order put on his mistress to keep him from screwing around with her at the Mayoral Residence while she was still living there?

He was acquitted. It was nothing but a republican political crusade and a big mistake on their part. Clinton's approvals ratings actually went up during the whole impeachment charade. That just shows what a joke it was.

Post Bush I would assume they are rightly proud of Clinton.

There was one foreign terror attack on American soil under Clinton's watch and the perpetrators were CAUGHT!

9/11 came under the Bush regime and Osama runs free today. The Anthrax Killer remains at large and Alberto Gonzales refuses to update Senators claiming the intelligence is "too sensitive" for them to see!

Bush has been a total disaster in fighting terrorism and now he turns on his base to give amnesty to millions of illegals who will replace loyal Bush working class white males in the labor pool. Just like he did when he played the social conservatives.

Same question: first of all partisanism sucks.... Would conservatives have a greater sense of pride if their icon -- King George -- had a brain???

impeaching Clinton for lying about BJ is very shameful.

impeaching the decider for invading the wrong country while our soldiers are being used as target practice is justifiable

did you know that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11???

He was impeached for lying under oath about sexual relations. Bush remains untouchable despite admitting that there's nothing showing that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11 and that there's no WMDS. What does that tell you about who's the more corrupt one?
