I reinstalled the whole system of my Gateway Notebook, Model MX6436. Now, I cant find the drivers for audio, and the modem. I actually cannot find out the name of the audio and the modem devices, as they are not installed, and so cannot figure out the way how to find the drivers for it.

Go to the gateway website or call their tech support. They DO have American support, but they are only VERY minimally trained. As soon as you get someone on the line, IMMEDIATLY ask for a A+ or MCDST certified tech. When I called for my nieces computer the agent didn't even know that 512 ramm, was a quantity, not a spec.

first backup and set restorepoint make sure all up dates are done first always updates before any sys change then uninstall completly then reinstall close other open applications to avoid conflicts viola your done
