Not really cuz you can always just avoid the chat and pick which questions you want to answer. And you can always 'report' the people that are doing the excessive chatting.

Doesn't annoy me in the least.

If I don't like something someone posted, I simply click on the Back Button and all my problems disappear.

Seems to me as if someone needs a time out from Yahoo!Answers???

Sometimes. I get only slightly annoyed when people ask "How good was your weekend?" and "It's a nice day today isn't it." It is kind of annoying as they aren't really too important questions, but they are easy things to answer for points. ^_^

Sometimes, BUT NOT always. It depends on how much chatting is going on as far as I am concerned.

Not at all. Somtimes you want to connect and thats sometimes their way of connecting. Sometimes there is no way to get in touch with someone whom sparked your interest.
