I need to know soon. My formula doesn't make sense, so I'm thinking that it shouldn't react but for some reason I wrote down that it did..

No. Both are nitrates and are soluble in water. They will not form a ppt. Zn2+ will not react with Ag1+.

since both are nitrates, they will not react. even if they do react, you won't come to know because the zn will probably displace Ag from its compound, giving you zinc nitrate (what it was in the first place).

Zn2+ and Ag+ are both oxidizing agents so they wouldn't react with each other.
