I thought it was pretty accurate, but I don't think it was that good, and that it would be better if they actually did bend the truth a little. Living with a lie is easier than living with an unestablished truth. I actually got to ride one of the boards made by stacey peralta when he started his company. It was amazing becasue it felt like something we would have today, but the deck had almost no pop and it was kinda heavy.

I also thought it was accurate. You should get the dvd and watch the special features. A lot of interesting facts there. And it was also cool that most of the skaters played other roles in the movie. I liked it. Just because a movie is a little slow doesn't mean it is not good.

I saw them...I'm a big fan of the books, so I was not terribly impressed with the movie. Too much was changed (not taking scenes out or whatever...I'm talking about changing the characters to their core that i have a problem with). Gandalf, Eowyn and Goldberry have always been my favorite characters. Sadly, Goldberry was omitted from the films....
