Yes, it is better, but remember, not everything is compatible with it yet. Software is a leapfrog game, one side improves, the nex side betters it, then the other side counters again. I do encourage you to get IE7 if youre not the type that downloads every toolbar, browser redirector, and cute screensaver out there. Just because they're free does NOT mean they're good, or that you're not paying in another way (spyware). You might also download firefox so just in case one of your progrms doesn't work well with 7, you have a back up plan

Personally I prefer the independent windows for sites in IE6 but I can see the appeal of tabbed browsing. IE7 is no more secure than IE6. Maybe I've just got used to the old IE6 layout? I never install Microsoft updates unless necessary - call me paranoid.

IE7 is safer, they say. You lose that part of IE6 that copies pictures off web pages...you can right click instead. But, you get Live Search & can program different things to your toolbar. It's tricky F11ing sometimes. It works good though, & I don't recommmend adding another toolbar to it. Could be immmenent disaster...you can add search options anyway. Get it with other updates from Microsoft Update, the optional update scan lets you know what's available. Also, it comes with RSS. I like it.

Yes IE7 is better than IE6. This is because:
1. Tab Browsing alowing you to open more than 1 webpage in 1 window.
2.More secure with Phishing with tells you if a website is harmful
3. It looks nicer

Yeah, it's pretty good, but i would have to suggest getting firefox instead.

I love it, it has an online spell checker for when you're writing anything in a text box, it seems to be faster, and i hardly EVER get any pop-ups with Mozilla Firefox, it's all around great.

Well it looks better and it's safer but I've downloaded IE7 3 times and it's never worked for me.

Download it and if you don't like it then contact me and I'll tell you how to get rid of it.

Yes you should get it. I see no reason to not get any and all updates from the Microsoft update page.
