what areas of san diego near downtown are the fun places to live?
im a college student and im planning on moving there with my family (mom/little brother) ..we're all pretty social and want a fun place to live ...i already have lived in orange county for 16 years, and san diego just looks like a better time...orange county kinda gets old and its not like a real city..
what area/s in san diego?

downtown is a nice place to live, but be careful o f the areas right around there like Barrio Logan/Logan Heights and Chollas View. Those are most definitely not nice places to live in!

Yes, San Diego is has amazing scenery and is a very fun place to live. I came here for college six years ago from the SF Bay Area and decided to stay here after graduation b/c I loved it so much. There is great nightlife, especially downtown and in Pacific Beach. The people are great b/c everyone is from somewhere else so people are just down to have fun. There's a great vibe b/c everyone here loves it and there is always something to do year round and the weather is the best in North America. The cost of living is high but it's still cheaper than the cold, frigid Bay Area or LA/OC; it's definately worth the price.
