I love crabcakes. The best that I have ever had in the world are at Bob's Steaks and Chops on Post Oak in the Galleria.
2nd best are at Tommy Bahama's in the Woodlands.
Something about the sauce and overall flavor at Bob's is honestly to die for. The Steaks are pretty unreal too!

For a different type of Crab Cake try the "Aquarium" restaurant. They have a wonderful menu and have this crab "cake" salad that has a BIG crab type of cake (it's not fried with breading - it's a cold salad) with avocado, jicama(is that how you spell it??) , and nice fresh greens - delish!

Papa's Seafood off of I-10 just east of Gesner. Lots of crab, fresh and a delicate texture. There are lots of other places but these are the best tasting.

I love the crab cakes at Ouisie's Table. Here is a link to their menu: http://www.ouisiestable.com/menu/?page=17
They were SO good. I really liked the spicy tarter sauce served with them.
