He needs someone to hold up a mirror so he can remember how pathetic his presidency was, international relations were in the crapper then also as I remember because I watched everyday as opec used the oil embargo to squeeze our economy and iran paraded our hostages on tv every night whild they burned american flag taunting us while Mr. Carter did absolutely nothing about it. The soviet union was supporting insurgencies all over the globe also at that time while our military was in probably it's worst state since pre wwII. Then carter and so many others that have criticized bush for bad relations with countries such as france, germany, etc. attack him for having a great relationship with tony blair so it seems like bush is damned if does damned if doesn't!

He is trying to take the focus off of himself. Carter will go down as the worst President in US history and he knows it, that is why he is in panic mode.

Carter was too soft to be president, and because of it the world walked all over America.Bush is at least doing something,he may not be the greatest president ever but he is the best we have in the political arena at the moment.Think about it,when we captured Saddam,Hilary Clinton said we should be proud of our president, now she is saying that he screwed up everything,so I don't think I want this backstabber to be elected. As for Obama,he's too much of a ignore it and it will go away kind of guy,he might make a great peace time president, but won't know the first thing about handling a war.Now lets talk about Bush,he let us know from the beggining that this war could last into the next decade and everyone agreed then(as in most of the american people and most politicians, including everyones beloved Hilary Clinton)The real problem is that ever since desert storm people have been thinking a ground war will only last seven days, when in reality desert storm should have lasted years we were just simply lucky that it went so fast.Bush was straight with America from day one since 9/11,I can't find any evidence to challenge my analysis. If it were up to me I would keep Bush in office until I could simply find somebody better.

I, personally, would vote for Truman, not because he is the only leader in history to use weapons of mass destruction, but because of the "Truman Doctine". That is what started us on the road to try and "save" the world. I say "F" the world, let's save America from the non-constitutionalist who are running her.
Carter and Bush??? That's like Hertz and Avis, they're both trying hard to not be number two lol.

Jimmy "mr peanut" Carter gave away the Panama Canal, the only link by sea we had east to west. he was and is a coward who thinks he can negotiate with the devil. he was the worst president we've ever had, and may ever have. if carter were pres. on 911, we would have lost another city also and still wouldnt have fought. as soon as carter got in the white house, he started tearing down the military, trying to make sure that we couldnt fight another war. hes pathetic.

Actually Bush is the worst president....by far. He HAS ALREADY been voted by historians as the worst president.

I remember Truman through this idiot, and the only 2 to come close is Nixon (Watergate) and Reagan (Selling arms to Iran and cutting and running from Beirut after 242 of our Marines were killed by Hezbollah acting at the behest of Iran, so a US court has ruled)

" No previous president appears to have squandered the public's trust more than Bush has. In the 1840s, President James Polk gained a reputation for deviousness over his alleged manufacturing of the war with Mexico and his supposedly covert pro-slavery views. Abraham Lincoln, then an Illinois congressman, virtually labeled Polk a liar when he called him, from the floor of the House, "a bewildered, confounded and miserably perplexed man" and denounced the war as "from beginning to end, the sheerest deception." But the swift American victory in the war, Polk's decision to stick by his pledge to serve only one term and his sudden death shortly after leaving office spared him the ignominy over slavery that befell his successors in the 1850s. With more than two years to go in Bush's second term and no swift victory in sight, Bush's reputation will probably have no such reprieve." The Worst President in History?

As a point of information, he was referring to the current administrations foreign policy, and he has a right to his opinion. Don't forget that the US has supported a few insurgencies and despotic regimes in our short history as well. You may also want to examine the history of US involvement in Iran before making judgments about what happened there and why. Our military was a mess because it had been locked in a 10,000 day war in which our policy had failed. My guess is that having sat in the oval office for four years during the cold war he is far better equipped to make that judgment than any of us here.

Here is a photo of this useful idiot Carter they should hang on his coffin when he finally lies in state in the Capital Rotunda. They will not have to worry about crowd control because no one will come and if they do it will be to pee on the coffin.

He should have kept his mouth shut and comment only on what he knows...peanut farming. If you read what the professional politicians and analysts have to say about him, they all agree Carter left the worst presidential legacy. He might be a nice guy, but he had absolutely no balls and made us look like cowards. With Carter in office, any stray dog could have taken a pee on us without fear.

No, Bush is just damned if he does it, anything. I agree with Jimmy Carter, Bush is the worst and will remain worst President in USA history and the dumbest by far. Tony Blair is the only friend in all the countries, you see what happened to him don't you, as Cheney states ,"On his last throe". I wish same thing for Bush that happened to Blair. Blair is running around trying to find a job, but still coming to America running his mouth about Iraq, that is what kicked him out of office his friendship with Bush and Iraq.

There's a lot of criticism that gets aimed toward Jimmy Carter but he is just echoing what many others think as well. Forget Carter saying it and you still have millions who agree with him, including many historians.
