On some questions it is obvious when there is lets say 25 answers & 24 of them have thumbs down while 1 does not. Hmm.... losers

Because they can. And sometimes to spite someone who posted an opposing view from theirs. And, since this appears to be a site where people know one another well, I suspect some of the thumbs down are given to the person someone doesn't like by going to his/her answers and clicking thumbs down on everything posted. I don't doubt when you saw the 24 answers marked down and the 1 left untouched, it was a friend of the one who was untouched.
