Hyptotenuse is 22 and 40 degrees is adjacent to it?

You actually need three pieces of info, but hypotenuse is used most with right triangles, so
cos 40 = x/22
22 cos 40 = x
x= 16.85

I assume that x is one of the legs of the right triangle.
If x is the leg opposite the 40 degree angle, then x=22sin40 =14.14 units.
If x is the other leg, then x = 22sin50 = 16.85 units.

16.85 = 22 cos( 40)

I think what you have to do is.

40+22=62

180-62=118
