i want to use these screenshot for wallpaper and stuff like that, so if anyone can help me find something, that would be awesome. Thanks !

Depends on the player you're using. PowerDVD and such have their own screenshot function built-in. As does VLC and MPC. As you didn't specify what you used, I can't tell if yours has it or not, but if you used WMP, the answer would be no. Switch to something better.

(And PrintScreen doesn't work on DVD player programs as most players use Overlay mode and PrintScreen don't catch Overlay contents)

With Windows Media Player (WMP), I was able to take a screen shot of a movie. You have to pause the movie and then hit print screen (Otherwise the movie will be playing in paint). Then paste into MS Paint that comes standard with windows. Now you can save it as a jpg and use as wall paper.

Hit the Prt Scr on your key board. then goto paint and paiste it there then save it there you go apply to wall paper.

you don't need software, just hit the button that says Print Scr, then you just have to paste it in a photo program, Paint,Photoshop etc.
