The thing is if he went he would endanger everyone who served with him. With that much security for one soldier it would interfere with doing the job at hand.

The most fair thing Britain should do is withdraw its troops from Iraq. It is hard to decide if Prince Harry should have been sent to Iraq, as he wanted. But obviously his life is more important then a picture of Tonyca Blairisky together with G.W. Bullshit.

Well, given all he's been through---truly with loss of his extraordinary mother whom I adored----I think WHOMEVER should do WHATEVER to protect him. **********************
You are right about the extra security----
But haven't the kids REALLY been through enough?????
They seem to be on the right track---despite all the HORRIBLE things they been through. Camilla. Mum. NO MUM. Camilla!!!
The Queen for grandma----??? OUCH!!!
Personally I don't think Charles has the ability to really love like Diana did. Those kids must so desperately miss their mom. It shouldn't be the "The Kennedy Curse"----
That's just MY opinion----but I am a mother and a teacher....I can't fathom THEIR lives without her. :) I cannot.

Life is not fair...PERIOD.
Once you come to that realization, things clear up a bit, and you begin to see what is possible in change, and what is part of the human condition that will NEVER change.

There would have been a possibility that he would have been captured. Think about the consequences of that.

I don't know if "fair" has anything to do with it. It is what it is. His military superiors said he can't go.
