Do you know how windy it gets when your windows are down in your car? Imagine you're on the open road at 75 mph.
1) Leather gives maximum warmth with minimum bulk.
2)Cowhide is rather tough, so I imagine should you have a spill you won't get scraped up as badly.
3) Leather looks cool as hell.

Bikers wear leather jackets to protect there body from the cold wind that flows on there body from making them sick.

In spite of all the great manmade materials, nothing gives the protection of leather. Also nothing looks more cool than leather.

I actually kind of like, but that is my opinion, and everyone has opinions. What Im trying to say is that every one will have an opinion on everything, and it is your opinion that will make you you. SO if you like that leather jacket, wear it, its you, and if they want to judge you, let them.

Because when/if, GOD forbid, they get in an accident the lether is very thick and it protects the skin from scrapping off, like an apple peel in a juicer, if they slide across the concrete...

because if they fall off their bike, they won't rip their skin off, cuase when you fall of a motercycle, it really hurts, you can break bones and ect, but if they don't wear a jacket and they fall off, its gonna be a bloody mess

It is a very tough and durable material, so if they ever fall off, it won't rip as easily as other materials.
