Yes, but why would you want to do that? The euro isn't the local currency in the UK, the pound is. If you want euros for a later part of your trip, wait until you can get to a bank, or wait until you get to a country that uses them and withdraw them from an ATM.

Yes usually thats why you should carry enough with you to get you through the airport to a bank where you can get reasonable rates.
Often times you can get your banks exchange rate just by using an ATM thats located in the airport withdrawing the local currecny you need.

the U.K uses the pound,most travel agents banks and post office will exchange most Hotels and local mu-ti business,it.s expensive,best to change from euro to the pound before you get here travellers checks give you the most secure way
