I have a Sony KVXA25M50 TV if you need details, which just has those 3 coloured jacks, called component in or something. I don't want to use anything like Apple TV or anything... just wondering if i can use a wireless router or something similar to connect them.

I have a little device I bought at Radio shack called Wavecom by RF-Link

One piece hooks up to the pc and the other the tv.

It sends the signals back and forth depending on which way you hook it up wireless.

I put one on my pc and watch it on my tv 2 floors below the computer room with no problems

If I reverse the pieces it goes the other way and I can watch my tv on my pc

I'm sure there are other things out there but this one works great.

If you dont want to purchase equipment designes to connect your tv and computer wirelessly, then no you can not do it just by connecting a router. If all you have are the RCA jacks on the TV how are you expecting to connect a ethernet router to it?

It's a relatively new technology, but you can send video and audio wirelessly to any TV. See my source below on just some cheap ways of transmitting the audio/video this way.

BTW - you would need a video card that had an output of S-Video or composite outputs to do the 2 options below.

BTW - You can get the exact item the above person mentions for half the price from http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=2832091/search=+RF-Link+AVS5811
