My breast is red and very warm to the touch. I had my biopsy four days ago and I would have thought that the swelling would have subsided by now. I don't see any indication that there is ANY less swelling at all. I just don't know when to call the doctor. I don't want to overreact.

It is always better to be safe than sorry. Signs of infection are:
swelling
redness
tenderness
might see pus
area is warmer than surrounding skin
fever (have you taken your temperature?)
incision can open

The doctor would much rather see you over a false alarm than to have you ignore it thinking that it isn't anything. Please see your doctor to be on the safe side.
