Clinton and GH Bush are great friends. I would imagine that anything he says will be tempered with that in mind. Also, Hillary has already hurled some pretty bad stuff at GW. I think Bill is going to be pretty low key other than backing Hillary.

Thank you for posting this excellent question. This is why I use Yahoo Answers to keep up to date. I admit that I missed this story because I was listening to Fox News . ;=)

I'm assuming that you refer to statements similar to those reported on 08/28/2006 and in his book "Faith and Freedom"

"He has just published a book, Faith and Freedom, in which he savages the American administration for leading the country into insularity and intolerance. 'We've never before had an administration that would endorse pre-emptive war - that is a basic policy of going to war against another country even though our own security was not directly threatened,' he said."

As a Nobel Peace prize winner, he deserves our attention.

I don't see how the Bush administration pre-emptive attack and occupation of the Middle East can be justified in the minds of an honest Christian community.

Jimmy Carter brave? When, Where, and how did you come to that conclusion? Jimmy Carter has never been brave or a good leader. He turned his back on those that were held hostage in Iran. He also turned his back on the American people when it came to the oil embargo

I won't be envoking the name of G-d for Jimmy Carter.
He has cursed Isreal and the Bible is clear those who crused Isreal will also be cursed.

Jimmy needs to spend more time reading the Bible and see how it applys to him before he strikes out at Bush.
