HP has some really good printers. I have an HP officejet 6110 all in one machine. I've had it for 5 years now and haven't had a single problem with it. It was $299. If your not willing to spend more than $200 on a printer I'm guessing all you want is a printer not a multifunction machine, so Lexmark has quite a few simple printers for under $200, so does HP, but the top 2 brand name printers are Lexmark and HP.

what do you want to do ?
Don't get a cheap all in one
Incorporate the real costs - cartridges .
More expensive printers are way less cost overall in the long run.
Canon and epson have the print heads built in - they can dry up ( get a new printer) but cartridges are much cheaper
If all you need is black and white - get a standard laser printer
Both the HP usually on sale, the samsung or the Konica / Minolta are good.
The Konica has the fullest demo cartridge of the three

you don"t need to spend that much
all in 1 printers is the way to go
scanner - copier - printer - etc
i have 1 and can do anything i can think of
circuit city -office depot - are good places to buy
hp is the best i think
i get free updates for more things to be enabled on the printer
it automatically does this with your internet connection

Plug the printer in and swap it on, then reboot the puter i think of homestead windows could desire to locate it and shipment the driving force. If this doesnt artwork circulate to gadget supervisor and shipment the driving force your self. In XP suited click the My laptop icon on the laptop - properties-hardware tab=gadget supervisor-imaging gadget if there's no longer something below imaging gadget you may test for a gadget (suited click) or if there is something there you may suited click that and are available across a driving force from the record. The above will basically artwork even if if it particularly is a printer. in the journey that your cannon is a multifunction situation then forget approximately approximately this. circulate to the cannon web site and acquire and deploy the driving force. you may desire to locate it from the downloads or help area of the internet web site.
