Well First you need to tell your 5 year old to stop. If he continues, Proceed to punishing the 5 year old. Set up an area called the "naughty center" and the 5 year old will stay there until he learns to be nice. Next, Keep the baby far away from him. In order for him to touch the baby he needs to earn it like doing chores, or cleaning up after his mess. Then you are straight.! Good Luck

Others are recommending Parenting category; I'd suggest Psychology.
Also, give some details: And details about the behavior -- when, what the child does, exactly, and especially how you've reacted thus far and what effect that's had.
Sorry, I know I'm not answering, but I simply don't know the answer. Never been a parent, and am no expert.
So, write out a more complete question, and post it in Psychology.
If you don't get some good answer within a few hours, paste it into Parenting.

Too many parent are afraid of spanking- Id make a point to do the "no" thing and punish him/her, but if it fails, I know my sore butt remembers what was right and what was wrong!

Go to the category ' pregnancy and parenting' and put your question under ' toddler and preschooler'. You'll get a lot better answers there.
