I'm living in France and my Garden is rather close to the Kitchen, the garden is riden with ants and they keep setting up camp in my kitchen. I have children who do leave crumbs around but not many. What is the best way to kill/assasinate the little buggers?

ant powder. you can buy it at any home supply store. sprinkle it in your garden and all around the parameter of your house. it will not hurt your plants. it is a very fine white powder, but be sure to wear a face mask while putting it out. and make sure it will not rain for at least 2 days after putting it out. if you put it out on a day that it will rain all was in vain. good luck

Find where the nest is and pour boiling water down it. YOu porbably have to do this regularly though, as they keep coming back.

Try oat meal or borax they will carry it to the queen and kill her and that should take care of them.

cornmeal - they'll eat it but can't digest it, so they'll die.
