I've been to Walt Disney World 2 times now and in less than a month i am going my third time. At EPCOT i've always seen Mission: Space, but ive never been on because I didnt know what to expect. What does the ride feel like and what is the estimated amount of g-force you experience at takeoff? BTW when i go to amusment parks usually i like the feeling you get on spinning rides a lot more than on the drops in roller coasters

If you suffer from motion sickness, stay away from Mission Space! I have a strong stomach and I almost threw up after getting off! If you have been on scary rides and are not afraid, then go on Mission Space. Mission Space makes Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Raildoad Mountain look like Mickey Mouse kiddie rides!

Mission:Space is a great ride I've been on it 4 times they changed the ride now there is 2 versions the original and a lesser intensity one I've only been on the original. Even though you are spinning u cant feel it all you feel in the g-force keep your head straight breath in threw ur noise and out threw your mouth and u should be fine. Hope you enjoy Mission:Space at Epcot!

DO IT!!! I've ridden it twice. I've been nuts about manned spaceflight since I was a kid in the '60's. You're nearlyon your back waitng for launch. You feel vibration, you see the gantry start to recede below you, then you feel several G's at least. I had tears in my eyes at this point. The experience is realistic and AWESOME until "orbit", then Lieutenant Dan comes onscreen to tell you you're going into "hypersleep". After you wake up in a asteroid field, it turns into more of a Hollywood-type thrill ride, and factual accuracy goes more or less out the window. I'm a 45 year old male in average health, and the ride didn't bother me a bit. My wife and young daughters opted out, however, or I would have ridden the sucker all day.

venture area isn't something like area Mountain, if that's what you're worried approximately. this is quite a simulation experience, the place you may act out a venture by using area. this is not very exciting yet people who elect to can journey slightly a "turbulence." And in case you're no longer those people who like being shaken around in a small container with a simulator, there is an option in case you prefer being nonetheless in a small container with a simulator. this is an especially resourceful experience, yet should not be ridden greater then as quickly as for my area. So do no longer concern, this is not something "frightening" purely a undemanding simulation experience. i could inform you greater, yet that'd ruin it. you will could desire to work out the experience for your self :)

I like coasters and most other rides, but this one gave me a wicked migraine. They offer two versions of the ride. One is not as intense as the other. Try the weaker one first, then if you think it was a breeze, try the more intense one. Have fun!!

If you like spinning rides, then you should like mission space. It spins and you get g-fore that will make you feel like your cheeks are pulling back. however, if u got a weak stomach, you prabaly might not feel so good.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. I went on and got a HA-UGE headache after. It felt like my cheeks were going to rip off my face lol. I couldn't even go on the Ellen/Bill Nye ride after...It moved to fast lol! But if you like spinny rides...go for it.
