if you never played halo ,which would you choose,
or is it just a pointless shooter?

33% of Halo Single Player is story, so I would get Halo first, than Halo 2 second, since Halo 2 is the better multiplayer, and Halo single-player. Get both, though.

Yea, they're both great games but you need to start off with Halo 1. Then after you beat that go to Halo 2. I have both and i am waiting for Halo 3. Cant wait till it comes out.

Both are award-winning game ! I had completed Halo and i am waiting for Halo 2 on PC. A good storyline and gameplay if u ask me !

well you have to start off with HALO 1. The story with halo is just awesome and you should just start from the beginning... You will NOT be dissapointed.
