u.s. carbon dioxide emissions?

Question

I saw in the paper this morning that if Bill Richardson is elected president he would try to eliminate the U.S.'s dependance on oil for electricity
It got me thinking-how much C02 does the US emit from electricity (coal/oil,etc.), and what percent is that of their total emissions?
