Whenever I reverse out of a parking spot and then put the car in Drive and start to turn the car to the left, it makes a very LOUD grinding noise. It does not do that when I turn the car to the right though. I am thinking it is the mounds on the car, but other opinions are welcome as well.

It's probably the tire rubbing on the inner fender well.
There is supose to be a steering stop bolt to keep the tires from turning too far.
You may have one that's broken off.

I'm assuming you turn your steering wheel ALL the way to the left.

It could be several other things, but this make the most sense.

Is it the power steering pump? When those are dying you'd be surprised by the noise they make.

*EDIT*
"It does not do that when I turn the car to the right though" sry didnt read that lol
