Some of Jimmy's greatest Hits, oh there is more
Remeber that Time when Carter was president and he allowed CASTRO to empty out his jail and send them all over tp us.
Remember that time when carter was president and Iran held U.S. TROOPS, AND Diplomats hostage for over 400 days.
The Iran hostage crisis was a diplomatic crisis that lasted from November 4, 1979 until January 20, 1981. Members of the Muslim Student Followers of the Imam's Line, a group of militant university students who were supported by the new Islamic regime, held 63 diplomats and three additional U.S. citizens hostage inside the American diplomatic mission in Tehran, Iran.
The crisis reached its conclusion with the signing of the Algiers Accords. On January 20, 1981, the hostages were formally released into United States custody after spending 444 days in captivity. The release took place just minutes after Ronald Reagan was officially sworn in as president.

No, yet no person cares what Carter thinks. He replaced right into a lame duck, and no president, no longer even for the duration of watergate or the Clinton witch hunt, has ever spoken out against a sitting president, different than Carter against Bush. it is reported as appreciate for the place of work, if no longer the guy.

Although I think Carter is a sincere and well-meaning person, and hostages are always a tricky situation (ask Reagan/Bush Sr about Lebanon) he did do some blunders during his Presidency
you left out-
school bussing - he was another President that tried this inane experiment; my sibling and i had to go to private school during this time to avoid this
he politicized the Olympic games by not allowing our athletes to compete- these athletes trained their entire lives and are not mean to be pawns of American foriegn policy except of goodwill; the USSR naturally retailiated , except Romania, at the next Olympics under Reagan and they were greatly welcomed

Jimmy Carter: Presided over run away budgets and double digit inflation. ( How about a 17-19% interest rate on your mortgage). Carter increased the federal debt by 42%
Lets not for get that Jimmy Carter gave away the Panama Canal and its strategic control over to Panama's leader, General Omar Torrijos Herrera....
One of his first acts in office was to slash military spending, decimate the US Naval Fleet, and without consultation with either the Pentagon or notification of the Kremlin he ordered the removal of missles from South Korea. All of this was mainly viewed as weakness rather than conciliation by then Soviet Premeir Brezhnev... Later that same year Brezhnev refused to remove Soviet submarines and aircraft from Cuba.
Carter also presided of then CIA chief Stansfield Turner who gutted over 800 human intelligence positions from the CIA. Without assets of its own, Langley had to rely on the intelligence agencies of foreign governments
New Year’s Eve 1977, Carter would toast the Shah’s Iran as “an island of stability in one of the more troubled areas of the world…[due] to the respect, admiration and love which your people give to you.
Let's not forget Brother Billy:
Billy tried to open trade relations with Libya in 1978 after depositing a generous $220,000 “loan” from Qaddafi. He registered as an agent of a foreign government two years later. (Billy exerted no influence over his brother, although Jimmuh made his teenage daughter an ad hoc nuclear advisor.)
WHY DO YOU THINK REGAN GOT ELECTED !!!!!
Regan just asked a simple question (referring to Carters administration) are you better off today or four years ago

Jimmy Carter is a scumbag. Not only was he a total joke as a president, but he has paraded around the world (Cuba, etc) telling other nations America is bad and wrong on just about everything.
Carter is a dumb ignorant hick who truly knows nothing about foreign policy. His idea of "negotiation" is to give away everything for nothing in return.
A typical liberal Democrat, Carter is a radical socialist who sells America out at every opportunity.
Republicans and Democrats in general both sell America out and neither party is fit to run our government. We need a revolution since both parties are worthless and sell America out. Carter was as bad as it gets from a policy standpoint, on par with Bill Clinton who was the worse as far as ethics go and Clinton failed to stop the terrorism that led to 911, and Bush is as bad as it gets in failing to protect our national sovereignty and in waste of government dollars.
Except for Ronald Reagan who was a truly great president, all we have had since Reagan have been anti-American sell-outs in both Bush presidents, Clinton and Carter.

So what did you expect Jimmy Carter could do, go to Iran and Kung Fu everbody in his way until he got his way? Politics and the world is more complicted than you think. What you don't know is that Jimmy Carter told the Iranians that if a hair on the head of any of the hostages was harmed that would signal the end of the Iranian government. Read more, learn more, criticize when all the facts are in.

YOU are calling Jimmy Carter a joke? Ohhhhh, the pot is calling the kettle black :p
Carter is one of the most beloved figures in the United States. Carter kept us out of a WAR, Einstein. But of course, you prefer warmongering presidents like the Sh*t-for-Brains that currently inhabits that office.
For your info, Bub, Carter DID negotiate the release of those hostages: the actually release took place after Reagan's inauguration to put Carter in a bad light.
