tourist in the old city.......?

how do you feel as a tourist who had been in a city that has been around FOREVER, like rome, or jerusalem, or damacus? i don't feel right walking by the colosseum..........it feels too old and too weird..........i like cities that aren't as old....it feels too weird to walk in jerusalem.........

I like to visit old cities, but someone did not like it.
