which has a normal vga cord.This card X1950 Pro 512 MB has two white slots for sth i dont now.Can i plug my simple vga lcd into X1950 Pro 512 MB with the help of something?

You mean this card doesn't support my screen?there is nothing to help connecting it?it also has a black port(the card)wat is this?

The white ports are DVI.

Typically these are DVI-I which has both analog signals and digital.

The analog signals are exactly the same as for the VGA connector, so all you need is an adapter that moves them from the DVI layout to a VGA layout. Typically the video cards come with these. If not then they are readily available.

The white slots are for Digital (or high definition) signals. Some monitors have support for digital, others just use the blue VGA port for an analog signal.

You'll have to buy a card that supports your VGA connection or as a (rather more expensive) alternitave, buy a monitor that supports Digital input.

You can purchase an adapter that will convert your digital card to a vga monitor...usually the card comes with one.

You DO NOT need to buy a new card or monitor!

It would be suggested to purchase a newer monitor with a digital input to get the full performance from the card.
