Like from a long time ago, does it still kinda bother you now? (Meaning if you never really got to fight back). I was bullied about 17 years ago (pretty bad) and I still get mad at those people. I know it's dumb and I should get over it but sometimes I think about it only cause now I have a kid and don't want it happening to her. Just wondering about your stories!!

Years ago when I was in the first and second grade.
He beat me up almost everyday, but I never backed down.
Then when I was about 19 I seen him at a church Christmas gathering.
He apologized for being a bully. We wrestled (for fun this time) and I pinned him in just a few seconds (and he was trying, he didn't just let me win).
For some odd reason, he committed suicide years after that.
I don't think bad at all about him. There must have been something really terrible in his whole life to make him behave the way he did.

Junior high was pretty brutal. I was very shy and didn't have the courage to stand up to it. It affected my self esteem and made me feel unsure of myself. Since then I've developed a thicker skin, but the experience has stayed with me. I've learned that people who bully don't feel good about themselves and pick on others so they are not targets themselves. I'm fortunate that my son is the type of person who doesn't let things bother him and he never went through that.

I was bullied when I was in middle school and high school. Some girls are just cruel and they tend to take advantage of girls that are not as aggressive as they are. I try not to think about it as much anymore and it helps that I don't see those girls in my present life.
