If yes how long does it take to learn ASP.NET?
I know a little bit of html. Can I get a job after learning it for 8 months?
Thanks.

The purpose of my question is not about a degree but ASP.NET. I know that a degree is a valuable to get a job but it is 100% required to have a degree to get a programmer job. Best programmers are knowed to have NO degree at all.

Yes they are in demand. Microsoft Training Courses can be beneficial for you. I think with proper training, 8 months are enough to get an entry level job.

You might, but I doubt it. You'll probably do a lot better with a college degree in IT. In any decent college, you'll learn not only programming skills and languages, but also something about general business - accounting, finance, management. You'll learn something about the sciences and humanities. You'll get classes in communication - english, composition, maybe a foreign language. All of this will help you become a more rounded, more valuable employee. Employers will also look at the fact that you worked hard and earned a degree as proof that you will work hard for them, rather than just learning a minimum amount in a narrow area. That may make them think that you'll only do enough to keep from getting fired.
