i have a blue ram in a 10 gallon tropical tank (78 gegrees)with 2 guppies, 1 swordtail, 1 cory cat
i've had her for more than a month maybe 2 months
on one of her eyes is swollen with clear stuff around it
what is wrong and what should i do?
she is acting normal and eating

i know cory cats should be kept in groups i was planning to get more and he seems happy

Your ram does have pop eye. It probably started as a scratch or scrape but has now gotten infected. You need to treat with a proper antibiotic to clear up the problem. I would suggest Maracyn or Maracyn TC, both will work well if you just treat as directed on the package. The fact that she is acting normal and still eating is a very god sign that if you act quickly the fish should recover fully.

I think it is pop-eye you call it it happend to one of my angel fish it was bulging out his socket then it looked like it was bleeding i put it in my qt tank and treatted it with melafix i think its called, Try that or what ever your lfs has, Ask what would be best for pop-eye, And cory cats are meant to be kept in packs of 3 or more-Evern tho you dont really have room for more fish.,
