I am considering putting a hood scoop on my 2007 mustang. Most of the scoops I see on the internet are attached using 3m tape. Is using this tape strong enough to hold while driving highway speeds?? Also should there be a reason to remove the scoop is it easy or does the tape damage the paint on the hood??

I guess it will work, I not sure about removing it later.
I found a fiberglass hood in a yardsale for $20 and cut out the scoops. My nephew does body work and he atteched the scoops to my truck hood using a few inset screws and some fiberglass. It looks good, but, I doubt it be easy to remove.
