First of all, intelligence is something you are born with. You don't gain it. Knowledge is what you are searching for. The quickest way to look smart without doing anything is to not say much. Just give a knowing smile. Otherwise start studying every day.

You may be able to gain knowledge but not intelligence. The more the know about everything brings you closer to genius.

being a genious or intelligent is said to be highly genetic but can be environmental by having you breastfed by your mother.
But if the person is smart to love reading books, he/she can increase his/her intelligence. Also, drink vitamins to improve the function of your brain.

Me TOO I retired from NASA 20 years ago . I worked my way up to a network trouble shooter and specialized in Transmitters ,Receivers , and rainging systems . At one time I was it. Get to work I am too old to do it any more.
