I live in the state of texas and I have not been able to find any laws or statutes addressing this question. I have to be at work with this write up tomarrow at 7:00 a.m. sharp!

Im not quite sure how things work in Texas, but in Fl (at my job, anyway). You dont have to sign. When I got written up, I was given the option to sign it!! I think if you do sign it, you are admitting guilt (in their eyes)!!! Think about it long and hard. Or you could even call a lawyer who gives free advice...

I would look it up in the employee handbook, but i think no matter what state you are in, you can always refuse to sign it if you don't agree with what you are being written up for. You can always get in touch with corporate too. I live in Indiana, and I had gotten written up for something that was untrue also, and I didn't sign the slip. I just told them straight up.
