The Giants will be 6-10 at best. The offensive line was below average last year. They needed to add two good linemen this offseason but instead they cut Luke Pettigout and moved David Diehl from left guard instead of siging an adequate replacement. Diehl was a decent left guard but he is an awful left tackle. Rich Seubert is mediocre at left guard. Shaun O'Hara is an average center. Chris Snee is a Pro Bowl guard. Kareem McKenzie is an adequate right tackle. The left side of the offensive line is awful. It will hold the offense back and allow opposing defenses to put too much pressure on Eli Manning.

Let's remember that NFC teams were getting into the playoffs the last couple years with 9-7 and 8-8 records.
That being the case, they definately have a chance to get into the playoffs.
I do think Philly and Dallas will fight for the division, the Giants could get in too.
That's why they play the games, so all us arm chair experts can see how good we are at predicting.
Looking at their schedule, I can see them going 9-7 or 10-6, it is possible.
They seem to play great one half of the season and suck the other half.

No because they have Eli Manning as their QB. He's a choker and not experienced enough yet. Plus their receiving core sucks. Their defense is the only good thing and if they do not fix their secondary its going to be a rough season for them. If you think that is an easy schedule then you need to look at it again. The last 5 games are good teams. Peace

giants deserve a weak schedule this year after the hard one they had last year...they will be either 9-7 and 10-6 which is good enough for the playoffs in the nfc...dallas will be horrendous behind romo who teams have enough tape on to show he is mediocre at best...philly is missing a star wideout again and mcnabb is on the hot seat...washington..well..they just blow...and luckily they have the nfc east teams this year (all great chances of wins except the pats)..should be a good year

Tom Coughlin...and the Giants??...they have some serious issues..that whole team needs an attitude adjustment..they are their own worst enemy.
I'd start with getting rid of Coughlin..he is awful..then ban the team from saying anything to the press.
