I need a little bit of optimism, and some cheering up today. I lost my job because of absolutely nothing....(the G.M. messed up), and it was my part time job that paid for my car, etc. I feel so betrayed and let down. Just send me a smile to start my day, please? I am bummin so bad right now.

OMG! Is that really you Large Marge? I'm so much your fan, I'm sending you several hugs and kisses via thought wave, thus you should be feeling them by the time you read this, and oh how I'd love to have you autograph my face;) LOL

It is said that whenever a door is closed, another one is opened. If you can't find the open door, climb through a window! Here's one more lift. Researching personality differences among twins, a group of "shrinks" tested a set of twins who were extreme opposites (a pessimist & an optimist). The pessimistic child was placed in a room filled with every conceivable toy. The optimistic child was placed in a room full of horse manure. After a time, the doctors returned to the 1st room to find a disappointed youngster who could only complain because of finding some fault with each toy. Noting this, they then went to the other room to find the other child feverishly digging in the equine poop. When questioned , he replied, "I know there's got to be a pony in here somewhere!"

A little joke I found for ya!

I am passing this on because it DEFINITELY works and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice I heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off 23 Bud Lights, a bottle of Absolute, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates. You have NO idea how freaking good I feel!!! What a great way to inner peace!

Ack, I am sorry about your losing your job and I know that everything looks really bleak right now. Try to keep your chin up and remember that things will eventually get better. Just keep telling yourself that you "ain't down yet" and that you are going to fight until you get what you want out of life. Good luck and I'll be sending good vibes/thoughts your way.)

Don't you worry sweetie. I hate it when people say things happen for a reason, but they really do. Take a day and gather your thoughts, and start looking for another job. Something good might be just waiting for you. Cheer up *hugs*
