She likes his freedom but she also used his attraction to her to trick him into staying on board "The Black Pearl". The kiss worked, he got stuck and the others got away. But the type of person that Elizabeth is, she would have felt bad that she did what she did and cost Jack his life.

Ummm ..... yes. Because he's adorable. lol
seriously, she does like him, but I still think she will end up with Will at the end of the third movie ... the filmmakers are just going to drag out the suspense as much as possible.
I think her attraction to him is pretty much strictly physical, but she obviously was feeling pretty bad about what she had done to him at the end of the second movie, so we'll see where that goes ....

there is still some serious controversy over it, some say no because she is engaged to Will Turner, and some say yes because of the way she acts around Jack and the kiss that she gave him at the end of the 2nd one...so, I think its safe to say that no one can be entirely sure, I guess we will all have to go see the 3rd one to find out...lol :-)

Yeah, but I suspect that it's more crush-on-the-guy-at-work than I-want-to-spend-the-rest-of-my-life-with-you... She's definitely attracted to him, but I think it's strictly physical, nothing deeper.
