1/" just for fun and dont care about your points and ask loads of questions"
= YES, but i sometimes provide knowledges for my minor friends here, in some of my questions and answers. i ask loads of questions sometimes, so that i can give BA to more then 1 person. (Small childrens/teens always hopes and becomes so happy when they get a BA)

2/ "to get information"
= No. I tried some question to "gain information" here, but the "informations" i received from answers here made me wonder a lot about the word "informations" itself... lol

3/ "to get loads of points and become a top contributor or whatever on top of the leader board or something"
= NOPE, Not at all. All the points in Yahoo!Answers totaled up cannot BUY even a little piece of bread for anyone. And a certificate of being on the leaderboard Top (in place like as taken by Judas Rabbi or so).. can't provide u with a job... anywhere.

I started by wanting an answer to a question then I realised there was points involved so now its a bit of fun, however I only ask questions I want the info to and I'm not striving to become the top contributor. I have a busy life with a 17 month old and I'm getting married in 8 days so I have a life! A very busy life lol!!

Don't ask many questions.Answer quite a few, depending on what the questions are.I like Q/A as it keeps me occupied and passes the time, but at the same time you feel a bit pleased with yourself if there is someone with a particular problem and you have enough knowledge or experience to be able to advise or assist the person. I get rather frustrated sometimes with the silly inane questions asked and also some of the equally foolish one word replies.I suppose sometimes I may take it a bit too seriously and not just as a fun thing as others appear to do. OK I do accumulate points but that is purely as a consequence of my participating in the activities of the site. It is not the sole purpose of responding to questions.i

mainly as a means of eliminating my lonliness, and It is so much fun. I enjoy reading most of the questions and get a laugh out of some of the answers. Yet, at the same time it is so nice to know that my little contribution might in some way help someone. It amazes me how ya wants to award points for my attempt to help someone. I*m a quiet reserved person and don*t like being *center of attention* so there is no way that I intentionally will ever strive for top points or to be a top contributor. I*ll leave that to the more outspoken folks out there.

For a bit of fun, don't care about the points or Top Contributor, I like funny questions and jokes. So I am looking for a laugh when I come on.

At first it was just for information but it became more interesting when I looked at lots of questions and answers and realised some people were having a bit of harmless fun and I just joined in. Its like a big family with a mind of information and a great sense of humour, I love it.

I use it for fun, but I love the points and asking questions. I also like answering and helping out too :)

Its a boredom reducer for me, or a distraction. If I have a question I genuinely wanna know an answer to then I'll ask it, but mostly its fun seeing what assorted kack other people put on here. Its a nice feeling to occasionally get a "best answer" and then you know you helped someone out or made them smile.

Mostly for fun - and now that I have comfortably reached Level 5, I don't care about the points as much as I used to.
