What year(s) did typewriter manufacturers produce the fraction keys (1/2, 1/4)?

It depends on the brand. Some of the IBM Selectric balls had them and others had other symbols in the same place. I have a Smith Corona portable with them while it does not have a 1 (use lower case L) or 0 (use oh O)
