What are the signs of a bladder and Kidney infection.

This sounds gross I apologize.
But
I've urinating like a race horse for the last 14 hours, and it's cloudy.
And theres a slight tingle when I do go.

I hope I explained this well enough not to disgust anyone.

Thanks

If you're not experiencing aching anywhere on your abdomen where your kidneys and bladder are, you probably don't have a kidney or bladder infection. These kinds of infections usually develop from a urinary tract infection, which it sounds like you have.

A urinary tract infection is when bacteria builds up excessively in the urethra, making it difficult or painful to urinate. Sometimes you may even bleed a little bit. Usually with a UTI you will have difficulty actually urinating after having the sudden urge to use the restroom.

It sounds like you may just have a mild UTI, so drink lots of water and take a cranberry supplement (you can find these in any pharmacy for just a few dollars), and it should go away on its own. However, if it continues to worsen or comes back, you should see a doctor as you could require antibiotics.

It may be either one But usually you will have a bladder infection prior to a kidney infection, one leading to the other. Burning when you void does not have to be present when there is an infection. You may or may not have pain at the abdomen. Your kidneys do not "cause" pain unless you are in the final stages of renal failure. You need to see your doctor and in the mean time avoid all juices which are acidic since this will irritate the bladder further. Drink plenty of water and do not delay when you feel the need to void.

Usually when you have a kidney or bladder infection it burns and feels like you have to urinate all the time. If it's your kidney you will feel pain on your lower back and lower stomach area. Try drinking lots of water and cranberry juice. If it gets worse go to the doctor.

It will hurt so bad either way. A kidney infection will feel like you have a rock that is trying to come out and your urine is usually orange. A bladder infection is a sharp burn that you might be crying and screaming when you pee. I would see how you are for the rest of the day and see the doc tomorrow.

This is one way to help solve your problem. Drink no sugar cranberry juice several times a day. The acid in cranberry juice will help heal the infection.

If you end up using an antibiotic be sure to eat yogurt to repair your PH. Yogurt has the healthy bacteria to repair what the antibiotic kills off.
