Also does anyone know where the tool kit is kept and how do you take off seat?

you dont mention a year but i did find a pdf manual for one. heres the link to it. i was there and looked at it before comming back here. its just like reading an actual manual but i do have to mention it takes acrobat reader to read it.

To remove the seat, there is a bolt on each side under the passenger part of the seat. You may have to remove the saddle bag lids to see them.
Not sure about the tool kit.
That bike may not have even come with one.
Big Jap touring bikes, usually have the tool kit in one of the saddle bags, or trunk.
That bike came with a removable travel bag in each saddle bag and a small storage pouch in the trunk.
The previous owners may have removed the tool kit.
