If the May 19 game agains the Mets is any inidication, they will not make the playoffs this year.
They should also be ending the season with a new manager.

I am the best Yankees fan in Maryland and I would have to say no. Not this season. Mariano is way off his game and that's a surfire sign that things will not go well, Boston is stacked well this season and as much as hate to admit it, they will probably take the AL East in a cakewalk (barring major injuries).

If they didnt make the playoffs they should be ashamed. They are the most rich team ever, it is unfair. If a team with that much money didnt make the playoffs then the everybody associated with the franchise should be ashamed.

If you mean based on their playing, no way. They're getting creamed this weekend by the Mets (yeah!) and they're gonna get creamed next weekend by Boston. But it's not only their pitching; they just can't score runs. The only way they could have a CHANCE of making it in would be the wildcard.
