One in a thousand. Read the pamphlet that comes with them. Usually says 99.9 percent reliable, so 1 in 1000. Imagine how many are used, that's a lot of failures. Pays to be not too vigorous.

I dont know what the stats are on that but I can tell you it has happened to me a few times.... and led to some interesting weeks after... Know that they are not 100 percent effective and use a back up method of protection.
