I was looking into the CarvinUX1000-BP Wireless Mic System, but is there a better one out there I should look at? What Do pro's use on stage?

Try to avoid to store front music stores (places like Guitar Center & Sam Ash). Try to find a Pro Audio store. In NYC I like Dale Pro Audio. Also try to find out if the sales help work strictly on commision (they ususally push what is going to make them the most money). If there is a store you purchase from regularly & sales person you see all the time they tend to respect you more & are more honest.

The rig you use would depend on the range you need. Don't go too cheap or you might have some interference problems. Be sure to check the "Harmony Central" website for reviews on the units you are considering - its a good source for that kind of thing.
