Personally I think that the AFC will win the Super Bowl again... I'm not a fan of the AFC, but they have way too many powerhouse's... Colts, Patriots, Ravens, and the Chargers... The underdog that will do very well this season, will be the Titan's.
For the NFC, Cowboys, Seahawks, Bears, and the Giants...
The underdog that will do very well this season, will be the Vikings. They made alot of good offseason moves that could really change the team around.

I just realized what I asked at the end of the question... I meant to say, what team will take over as Superbowl Champions?
My opinion would be, the Patriots.
This years Superbowl will be the Patriots vs Saints.
I am not a fan of either, but fact is both these teams now have the tools to dominate in their conference.

I'm going to put my Eagles jersey aside and answer this as a football fan.
I see no reason why the Colts could not repeat. I don't see a team in the NFC that looks stronger than them, or the improved Patriots. The only obstacle that I can see is coming out of the AFC West.
Then there is the injury factor. But yes, the Colts can repeat.

I think the Colts chances to repeat are very high as long as they don't have to head to New England in the playoffs. By playoff time, the weather should be really bad in Foxboro. The Colts never do really well playing in cold bad weather. The last time the Colts played in New England and the weather was bad they got stomped. They really need to win next week's game and get home field advantage throughout the playoffs. There's one other team I wouldn't count out of the picture. That's the Chargers. At the beginning of the year they were playing very poorly. The Patriots got lucky that they played them at the right time. I don't think the Colts are going to be so fortunate as to get such an easy game from the Chargers. They are improving rapidly and will be a heavyweight contender by the time the play-offs come around. Look at the last two years what happened. The team that had the great record the year before, didn't have as great of a record the next year and won the Super Bowl. The Steelers did that, then the Colts did that. New England has a pretty easy schedule for the rest of the season with only a few tough teams left like Pittsburgh. They could possibly run the rest of the table even if the Colts beat them. That could mean to get home field advantage the Colts may have to go at least 15-1 on the season if they beat New England this next weekend. If both teams went 15-1 the team who won that game would have the tiebreaker.

Eventhough the Colts have lost some key players they still have a chance to repeat because as long as they have Manning, Harrison, Wayne, They will Score. Their Defense isn't that Great, but their is talent there.
Yet again in the AFC every team has a chance to get to the SB.
The Patriots Got WR Talent and have a good HB. but can he take the Pounding? Dillon isn't there no more. Their Defense is getting old. and really they don't have much talent at Corners. even with the Addition of Tory James. A. Samuel is a solid player with 1 good yr. in 06. but wants a raise or wants out. They May Score, but they will also allow points.
The Broncos have Talent in almost every Position as well, but their QB is young and can he produce in pressure situations that are the playoffs and the 2 minute Drill against a good team.
Chargers are an explosive team with a new coach, weak defense and no WR that will scare the elite. Basically, Stop LT and you win. Turner isn't the answer as a coach. he hasnt and wont succeed. no matter where he coaches.
Ravens have a Hard Hitting Defense with speed. and if McNair Produces like he did last year they might win most games. MaGahee was a great addition. It all depends if McNair can stay healthy, for them Compete.

There is a possibility that the Colts can repeat. The question is, how possible.
For starters, let's look at the AFC South. The Texans did not help themselves what-so-ever in the draft. Therefore, I don't see them as being a team in the AFC South to challenge the Colts. Next, there's Tennessee. They also did not help themselves in the draft. Also, Adam "Pacman" Jones is suspended for the season. They're going to struggle in pass defence, and the Colts have arguably two of the best wide receivers on their roster. Jacksonville is probably the only team in the AFC South that can challenge the Colts. With the maturing of Maurice Jones-Drew, who knows what can happen. However, Jacksonville wasn't very active in the post-season, or in the draft. We'll see how that plays.
The top AFC teams obviously are the Colts, Patriots, Chargers, and Ravens. There's also the chance of a wild card team upsetting any one of these four.
In my opinion, the Colts can repeat, but they did lose some key players on defence. I think there's always going to be a chance as long as the Colts have Peyton Manning. It's going to take a lot of hard work and effort, but hey, who knows, maybe the Colts can pull it off.

The Colts most likely will not repeat. They didn't lose anyone in the offseason however there is one team that got much much better throughout the offseason. The patriots will probably win the superbowl this year. I hate the patriots but they have become very good over the offseason,The patriots drafted a safety which they needed and he's very good. They traded and got Randy Moss and they also picked up donte stallworth. Both are first round picks in the past. The patriots can make it so randy moss play well. They also got wes welker who is an excellent third reciever. The only reason the Patriots lost to the Colts this year was because the patriots had poor recievers who dropped balls in crucial times. They also picked up adalius thomas.

The Colts will not repeat. They lost too much on the defensive side of the football. If NE can keep Mosses head in the game and not be the cancer we are used to seeing out of him they have a great shot. The Ravens by the time the playoffs get here will be very banged up in a tough north. Bengals are better don't count out the Steelers even the Browms have gotten alot better than last year. I think the Chargers thew away there shot with the new head coach. As for contenders in the NFC to me its Saints Bears Seahawks and then as a dark horse the 49ers.

The Colts will NOT Repeat.....The Odds are against any Team repeating....
Most players who win it really don't have the desire to win another one because they've spent their whole lives trying to get just one Ring....They basically just go for the Money and big contracts..
Look at some of the players the Colts lost from last season...Why did they leave when people are picking the Colts to repeat?
Plus, winning the SuperBowl brings alot of distractions off the Field in terms of Fans and Engagements that players attend...Instead of them doing 50 Bench Presses, they cut it down to 40.....
In terms of the who will win the SuperBowl, I feel that it is the Patriot's to lose (although I am not a Fan of theirs).....They are Loaded with Players....

Colts, Pats, Colts, Pats.
That's all you hear about in these answers.
Yes, the Pats made some moves and look good on paper.
But let's remember, they are putting their hopes in their running game on a second year runner, who is good, but we will see how good when he gets 80 per cent of the carries.
Stallworth is good, but injury prone.
Moss can cause more distractions than he is worth, Pats fans seem to forget that. They will remember though, when they see Moss screaming at Brady on the sidelines to throw him the ball no matter what.
Colts will still be solid on offense, but let's not forget that they had the worst defense in the league last year, and many of their games were won in the final minutes. They also lost to the Texans, so even though they won the Super Bowl, they do have chinks in their armor.
I agree that the AFC will win it, but I have to go with the Chargers. It was an absolute fluke that the Pats beat them in San Diego last year, but they did win, and I am sure the Chargers will make sure it doesn't happen again.
Only weakness Chargers or Ravens have is their WRs.
So let the Pats fans scream how the Super Bowl is won already before the season even starts, and let the Colts fans jump up n down over their one Super Bowl victory, time will tell who is right.
It doesn't matter who gets their from the NFC, they will lose.

No they won't and they shouldn't have won last year. The NFl did everything they could to hand it to the dolts, but that won't last and last year will serve to be a fluke and the year before for that matter.
My Patriots will recliam our rightful place as champs and win it legitimately. Forget the media hype. We will win because of our classiness, focus on one game at a time, hunger, desire and great player acquisition. We have a vision that other teams simply don't have. I see the dolts being knocked out of the second round and if they do make it to the AFC championship, they'll lose to us at home. We have reshifted the balance of pwer back into our corner and not a moment too soon.
I disagree with you, I love that that balance of power is in the AFC. I had to suffer in the 80's when the NFC dominated everything and my team wasn't a ppwerhouse back then. Now as an adult, I get to enjoy this dominance and I will ride it for as long as it lasts.
Let's go PATS!!!!! choke the NY Jokes every time, we own them!!!
