what kind of pipe is it? What's wrong with it? Can't fix something without knowing what's wrong with it! You can replace the pipes if there's no connectors then you might need a hacksaw and get some connectors to add in the new part. Any good hardware store will tell you how to fix the drain pipe.. Don't just ask the cashier.. Ask the hardware guys that work there. They wouldn't be there if they didn't know hardware stuff! Of course U use commense go to the plumbing section for your question.. unless your in a small town that has a hardware store with things mixed in one section!

What sink kitchen or bathroom.Both maybe replace the hole drain assembly with new, all the parts come in a kit.

Need a little more info. If it is leaking at a joint, it is probably just a bad gasket. If the pipe itself is leaking, you will need to replace it.
