Some people need everything in place - things and people and think they can organise both as easily.
Some people genuinely want to help, want to protect you from mistakes and don't realise they are crossing boundaries.
A damaged few think the only way to keep a relationship is to have complete control of a person.
Think about which category the person you're having the problem with is in. The first two just need talking to, the third needs distance.

Usually they don't know how to handle not having everything "just so". They worry that it won't be right unless they have some control over it..or you.
Personally, I have enough to do to try to keep my own life on track. I don't have the time to control anyone elses'.

It is a mental condition from which they suffer since they obviously feel no control over their own life, so they want to control another's.

Excellent question, and in my opinion it's the control freaks that are causing all the pain and suffering in the world, thus they are such miserable people that they unwisely choose to force their misery upon the rest of the world:(

I don't let anyone control my life, never have, never will. my ex husband tried it, that's why he's my ex. I've been my own boss since I first left school and I intend to keep it that way.. !!.. xx

They are control freaks, that's why they hate it when they can't control me. I am my own keeper. No one controls me. They need to find another victim cause I refuse to be one.
