i like to think so, i don't like to talk much, im very secretive and careful with how much i reveal. listening and observing is the best way to learn, i think.

I try to be, but I have to fight a tendency to want to multi-task. I have found that my friends get mad at me when they are talking with me and hear me typing on the computer whilst I listen to them.
The fact that I can tell them what they are saying proves I am listening but it still irritates some of them. I have to make myself stop typing and just listen sometimes.
I try to listen and not necessarily problem solve for them, but it's hard because it was a large part of my job for so long.

Sometimes. I'm getting in touch with my inner male as I get older (*laughter*). I've realized life is too short to listen closely to every silly ijit on the planet, when a heartfelt "unhuh" will make them just as happy.

Yes, I am...if one is caring enough they can listen for hours. And , after wards; not be judgmental.
