morning glories just coming through the ground, and a hanging plant

Some things will suffer at temps, higher than freezing , some as high as 45 F. You didn't say what the basket was. If it is Impatiens, New Guinea Impatiens, or some tropical houseplant type , bring it in . Cucumbers also suffer if it is below 40 . Cover 'em if you got 'em .

No your plants should be fine we had 2 nights of temps of 36-37 degrees and my tomatoes, eggplants, lillies, and dasies did just fine. The only thing that had a little bit of damage on it was my hops vine.

No you should be fine, we are still getting nights in the 40's where we live and our plant are doing fine.

32 is frost. They'll be fine
